Reich Design Associates PLC is an architectural practice dedicated to quality and economy in both the services provided and the design solutions we generate. Our firm is capable of providing a full range of services, from project inception through completion, for a wide variety of commercial and residential projects. We design additions, renovations, and new construction, in a speculative or custom design framework.

The current structure of the firm has the flexibility to handle projects that vary in size from $100,000 to $10,000,000 in construction cost. Single family residential projects range from 1,500 sq. ft. condominiums to 9,500 sq. ft. custom homes. Computer generated documents for drawings, specifications and reports, including 3D computer models, using some of the latest technology are standard elements of our practice.

The firm, with a single principal having over 30 years of architectural and construction experience, offers high quality, continuous, personalized service. All projects receive the total involvement of a senior Architect from inception through completion.

Services offered

High quality architectural services can be performed in a standard format, or abbreviated to match a smaller scale project or budget. To maximize design quality, we often use a unique process by which two, sometimes distinct alternative designs are generated. This maximizes client participation and encourages input into the design process, enhances decision making, and often leads to a better design solution.

Basic services

site planning verifies that client and regulatory requirements are met, in addition to maximizing any site amenities such as views, orientation to maximize energy efficiency, or any special site characteristics.

preliminary design which incorporates the design process described above and determines that client space, program and budget requirements are met.

design development incorporates changes or refinements to the design, and advances major aspects of the project that helps to expedite client decision making.

construction documents include drawings and specifications, with sufficient detail to help expedite the construction process, to minimize change orders and any unforeseen cost. Construction documents can be abbreviated, depending on the goals of the Client and scope of the project.

bidding and construction administration services follows the project through the construction process and serves primarily as quality control. It can incorporate shop drawing review, progress and contractor pay request review, observations and field reports. this service can be abbreviated or omitted, depending on client preference.

the firm draws from a wealth of previous experience in a variety of capacities.

master planning / site analysis can help determine the feasibility of a project. We can assess the suitability of a particular site, analyze compliance with regulations and ordinances and estimate development cost for single- or multi-family residential, as well as a variety of commercial use types.

interior design includes interior architecture, which can incorporate built-ins and finishes. This service can also include extensive material and finish selection, including window coverings and artwork selection, working with some of the area's foremost interior designers.

renderings / graphics for advertisement, formal presentations for municipal approvals or to help market the project are available in a variety of venues. Graphics for project identity, signage, and logos for a subdivision or development is also available.
